Last month I was visited by DJ Magič of the YouTube channel Diggin Time, coming all the way from the Czech Republic to play a few gigs, record an episode of my radio show WaxWorks and go diggin' for three days in Copenhagen. He has just released his video on Patreon and it will be coming to YouTube next week - until then you can watch the video right here.

Last Month Nyboe was visited in Copenhagen by the Czech DJ Magic of the YouTube channel Diggin Time for a few days of cratedigging and two collaborative DJ-gigs. So for this Month’s episode Nyboe and Magic are talking about and playing some of the old Czechoslovakian records he brought all the way to Denmark and a few of Nyboe’s personal favorites.

I have the honor of being interviewed for the UK radio show Bearded Beats Hip Hop History Show on Code South Radio and also doing an exclusive mix based on the interview. A few weeks ago I was contacted by Bearded Beats to be featured on his radio show - both with an interview and also with an exclusive mix. And it came with a challenge: Do the mix based on the questions sent in advance for the interview.

I have been passed the keys to Synk. by Emil Breuning - a curated playlist featuring a monthly host / curator. Previous hosts include Jimmy Sørensen, Olivia Jacqout Vestergaard and Martin Ringgard. My mission was: "You live to find rare vinyls and forgotten b-sides in the analog space. Show me Spotify's answer to the back record case. Give me the digital rarities and the overlooked tracks".

June 26th DJ Magič of Diggin Time from the Czech Republic is visiting Copenhagen and doing a Diggin Time special 6-hour set with Nyboe at bird : dowtown on Palægade 8 close to Kongens Nytorv June 21st from 17:00 - 23:00.

This autumn Conway The Machine and Daringer is embarking on their 10th Anniversary of Reject II European Tour and visiting Copenhagen, Denmark October 21st, where Nyboe has gotten the honor of doing a warm-up vinyl-set at the concert in Pumpehuset.

The new British Music & Culture magazine Hookers & Gin's first issue has just been released. It's very limited - only 100 copies and Nyboe has written an article about Danish rap in English called The Hidden History of Danish Hip Hop.

In this month's episode of WaxWorks on Black Rhino Radio, Nyboe presents the mixtape Movies at the Library – a specialist mix built from the library music and soundtracks he's fallen for as a DJ. Though rooted in hip hop, that culture led me to discover these cinematic sounds, now a constant source in his sets and record digging.

Nyboe is featured on the latest Double Up Series for DJ-League Radio along with the British DJ Mr. Blue with a 30 minute mix of 90's slow jam R&B with hip hop beats. The DJ-League Double Up Series connects DJs from across the world. In this edition, DJ Nyboe from Copenhagen, Denmark and DJ Mr. Blue from London, UK come together in one shared mix. Different scenes. Different styles. One connection.

This year Nyboe was part of the official 45 Day 26 Live Stream on Twitch along with a bunch of other dope DJ's from around the world. It was an hour of 7" vinyl with a mixture of instrumental hip hop beats, edits and remakes of classic breaks, library music, remixes, funk and much more. Last Thursday Nyboe played at Kinyobi and the full four hours are now up on their SoundCloud. A mixture of Japanese jazz-rock, jazz-funk and more with boom bap and breaks. So go digging deep with Nyboe as he dives into underground 12” records and their roots exploring samples, breaks, library music and rare grooves. A bit over a month ago Nyboe was by one of his favorite Danish podcasts - Forstadsforbindelsen - to collect a prize he had won though their Facebook Page and while there we of course just started nerding everything they hiphop and as they were already in the middle of recording an episode he just joined in halfway.

In the latest episode of Part of My Journey, Criztoz of 45 Day sits down with Nyboe from Copenhagen, Denmark for an open and honest conversation about music, life, and resilience. We explore Nyboe’s journey from a young record collector and music journalist, developing a deep connection to music culture early on, through to working within a record label environment and eventually stepping into DJing later in life.

Back in March Nyboe was in Prague for the release of his and DJ Flux' joint mixtape #ON 45's VOLUME II and there is now a live recording of the first part of the evening online now.

In this month’s episode of WaxWorks on Black Rhino Radio, Nyboe is visited by Kuku Agami for a talk about several never released albums, about playing and touring with live-bands, forming a group with his two brothers, being on prime time national TV every weekend, going back and forth to the States to record, working with The Prunes and many other legendary producers, finally releasing his debut-album in 2008 and much more.

Last year Nyboe was invited by one of the Czech Republics finest and most championed vinyl-DJ's - DJ FLUX - to do a one-side each mixtape with only 7" vinyl records. That mixtape is now out on cassette tape along with for stream and download through Buggy Records.

Once again Nyboe was part of this years 33 Day Raid Train on Twitch and it was all recorded live and the whole mix is now out on YouTube over at 45 Day. The mix is all instrumental hip hop - 41 tracks to be exact - from all around the world and ranging from the 90’s to the 2020’s. Tune in now on YouTube to watch the full mix…

The 24th of February I played at Funky Tuesday at LePetit Wine Bar in Torvehallerne in Copenhagen and as always in was live-recorded by the good people Pay-Pa Boy and Emotional Ty.
