New all-Danish vinyl-only live-mix for Diggin Time

A while ago I was invited to record an all-vinyl mix for Diggin Time's YouTube channel with only Danish music and back in November I filmed it live at FUNHOUSE Café, Vinyl & Wine in Vesterbro, Copenhagen.

35 tracks released somewhere between the 1960s and the year 2025 - especially focusing on Danish jazz, soundtracks and beats as well as classic breaks and samples. Some more well-known than others, some used on classic Danish rap tracks and some that for some reason have not been used yet as far as I know. 

A blend of cinematic themes, protest songs, jazz-funk, dansktop, exotica, beat-rock, instrumental hip hop and much more along with Danish breaks and samples of various kinds.

The mix is ​​especially inspired by Danish DJs, producers and record collectors such as DJ AOK, Ghettosvend, DJ JSPR, Tue Track, Per Vers, Ali.Kabali, Lukas Lunderskov and Lil'Jay as well as the record curators in stores such as Paname City Records / Adrien Pastor, Reverbvinyl / Nicho1, Palmspree / Anthon Stacks, Pasteelo / Jabar Ligla and Rekords / Jakob med K.

And big up to all the current musicians and producers in the mix - I Am An Instrument, Turkman Souljah, Manus Nigra, Berlin Zoo, Yellow Spoon, A Plane To Catch, Ahead, BIMS, Tudsegammelt and AddisAbabaBand. The Danish music scene is doing well the last 10 years or so - at least in the underground!
